FACE AND UNDER-EYE FILLERS

Facial and under-eye fillers are products such as collagen, hyaluronic acid and calcium hydroxylapatite that rejuvenate facial skin by reducing or eliminating wrinkles, raising scar depressions, enhancing lips and replacing soft-tissue volume loss through facial injections. With age, our skin becomes more susceptible to wrinkles and sagging. Exposure to sun and years of muscle movement ( squinting, chewing, smiling ) contribute to tissue breakdown of the skin.

Facial fillers are temporary to long-lasting solutions administered through a few tiny facial injections on specific areas of the face. Various types of facial fillers are available; each is designed with one or several purposes, such as wrinkle reduction and lip augmentation.
Made of a hyaluronic acid gel, these fillers contain naturally-occurring substances in the skin that contribute to volume and hydration.

DO DERMAL FILLERS HAVE SIDE EFFECTS?

Fillers contain hyaluronic acid. This gel-like substance is found naturally in the body. It’s used to “plump up” skin, adding volume to places like the cheeks and smoothing out wrinkles, especially around the eyes, lips, and forehead. The acid has lidocaine in it and this reduces your pain.
Brand names include Juvéderm and Restylane. Because the body reabsorbs the hyaluronic acid gradually over time, results generally only last 6 to 12 months. After one session, you will look young and fresh for at least a month.
You can get injected during your lunch break and go back to work within fifteen minutes. You might have some redness on your face for a while. You can wear make-up, take a shower and socialize after 2 hours. The only important detail is to remember sleeping at a 45-degree angle on your back for just one night.

PRICING

It depends entirely on how much you’re going to have done, which fillers you opt for and whom you pay to administer them.
Doctors should use FDA approved products that won’t risk the health of patients. Patient satisfaction and health are more important than the cost. Prices differ depending on the volume added.
The amount administered depends on the depth and size of the skin defect or wrinkle. You can consult the amount to your doctor and decide together. Your doctor’s experience is a crucial part of the procedure.

Every skin is different and ages differently. Juvederm works by adding volume to the facial tissue through its active ingredient, hyaluronic acid and fixes many problems( lip lines, under-eye, cheekbones) .

HOW DERMAL FILLERS WORK

Dermal fillers are aesthetic gel based treatments injected into the skin. They are specifically designed to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, contour the face and create volume. Some dermal fillers are also used to hydrate and revitalise your skin.

Dermal fillers are based on a substance that occurs naturally in your body – a sugar molecule that exists naturally in almost all living organisms. Its normal function is to bind water so it acts as a lubricant and shock absorber in movable parts of the body, such as joints. It is also important for the transport of nutrients and in regulating water balance in the skin. By boosting your skin with this naturally occurring substance, dermal fillers revitalize and add volume to the area instantly. This diminishes the appearance of lines and wrinkles and giving a natural softer look. The gel we use is very tissue-friendly and closely resembles that which exists in the body.

FACIAL DEFORMITIES

Your skin has a big job to do protecting your body, so it’s made to be tough and stretchy. There is a lot more to this job than it might seem. There are three main layers of the skin.
The epidermis is the top layer of the skin, the part of the skin you see.
The dermis is the second layer of skin. It’s much thicker and does a lot for your body.
Subcutaneous fat is the bottom layer.
Aging affects these layers and wrinkles become visible.

HA (hyaluronic acid) is critical in maintaining skin hydration. The substance works as a magnet for moisture, helping your cells retain as much of it as possible so that your skin feels and appears hydrated, plump and healthy. Your doctor fills the tissues of dermis with HA to achieve a good result; a skin that looks young and fresh.
